The 14th of February as we all know is a special day. The day of love and affection is celebrated annually. Every year, people show their love for one another by sending Valentine’s cards and giving gifts such as chocolates,flowers or teddy bears.

However, IIWF's reasoning was beyond the scope butdecided to commemorate the Wards under the Lagos state government correctional homes. This is to promote gender equality and empowersindividuals to break free from harmful stereotypes andpursue their dreams, regardless of societal expectations.
